Writing can be deeply rewarding, yet painfully challenging. Over the decades, I’ve experienced both the highs and lows of the writing life. Because I can relate to their struggles, I’ve been offering free stuff for writers, sharing what I’ve learned . . . and hoping to help them experience more highs than lows.
I’ve spent most of my life writing and editing nonfiction and fiction. Along the way, I’ve learned a lot about how to write, publish, and market my work.
I put together the most important things I’ve learned about the writing craft and book marketing in several PowerPoint presentations, which I delivered at writers conferences.
Now, I’m making those presentations available here, free of charge, as downloadable PDF files.
Click on the drop-down menu for this topic, and explore those PDF presentations. You can either read them here online, or download them so that you can go through them at your leisure.
If you’ve got the passion to write, I hope you’ll find these items helpful. I’d love for all writers to experience some of the highs I’ve had the good fortune to know over the years.
Happy writing!
